Chain Bridge Native Landscapes (CBNL) has been designing and creating native gardens in and around McLean, Virginia since 2018
We can help you transform your property to a sustainable ecosystem. Whether your goal is to revitalize your entire property, refresh your foundation plantings, create a meadow, or establish a pollinator garden, we can help.
Our Process
We create beautiful full or partial native garden designs (including remote design projects when feasible). We offer on-site native landscape consultation as a prelude to a design or for general coaching.
CBNL provides the native plant material for installed final designs and works with trusted installers to implement them. We also procure and deliver native plant material for do-it-yourself projects.
The first step of every project is a conversation and/or on-site visit to discuss goals and options. Understanding your site conditions is critical to proper native plant selection. Developing insight into your ecological and aesthetic goals is also essential to ensuring the success of your project.

About Me
I founded CBNL in 2018 because I love native plants and helping homeowners transform their properties to sustainable ecosystems. I hold a Master's Degree in Sustainable Landscape Design from George Washington University and am a VNLA Certified Horticulturist, Level 2 Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (Design and Installation), ISA Certified Arborist® and Fairfax Master Naturalist. In addition to designing native gardens, I am actively involved with community environmental and conservation initiatives.
