Chain Bridge Native Landscapes (CBNL) can help you transform your property to a sustainable ecosystem. We do this by creating beautiful full or partial property designs (including remote design projects when feasible) and offering native garden consultation and native plant material delivery for do-it-yourself projects. CBNL provides the native plant material for all installed final designs and works with trusted installers to implement them.

The first step of every project is a conversation and/or on-site visit to discuss goals and options. Understanding your site conditions is critical to proper plant selection. And understanding your ecological and aesthetic goals is essential to ensuring the success of all projects.

A graduate of Georgetown University, Barbara Ryan, CBNL Owner and Founder, holds a Master's Degree in Sustainable Landscape Design from George Washington University, and is a Certified Virginia Horticulturist (VNLA) and Certified Level 2 Chesapeake Bay Landscape Professional (CBLP, Design and Installation). In addition to her work designing native gardens, Barbara is actively involved with community environmental and conservation initiatives.
